Our director, Bryan Steel, was the keynote speaker at this event. Here is what Hilary Farmiloe, Partnership Development Manager at the Thanet School Partnership, had to say about him.

Bryan spoke at our annual celebration event which included an audience of 1000+ made up of community sport providers, health practitioners, schools staff, young people and their parents. Bryan’s message was relevant to everyone and linked perfectly to our Olympic inspired evening. Bryan demonstrated how the power of sport can be used to transform young lives. In an area of socio-economic deprivation with groups of disengaged young people his story took on even greater significance.

He was very approachable and friendly whilst maintaining high professional standards. He understood the nature of the event and adapted his speech to suit the situation.

During the event Bryan posed for numerous photographs, presented awards to both staff and students and addressed the audience. Bryan was very accommodating and welcomed photographs and autographs from fans following the end of the event.
